Come learn from outdoor magazine photographer, 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗺, for Part One of our 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 Backcountry Workshop Series!
This workshop will provide students with a deeper understanding of the key elements needed to make magazine-worthy outdoor photographs. During this half day session, we will cover everything from how to use your camera to its maximum potential, to editing in lightroom, to outdoor photography tricks and tips for scouting locations and working with the elements that are often outside our control.
Steve will go cover photography basics such as the triangle of exposure, focal lengths, composition, and post-processing tips, as well as what kind of gear to have in the field.
There will be slideshows, interactive discussion, hands-on learning and a Q/A at the end with Steve.

Beginner — Intermediate outdoor photography knowledge

Steve Yocom is an Outdoor and Travel Photographer based out of Waynesville, NC. Steve works with some of the outdoor industries leading magazines and brands, as well as helps multiple states tell the stories of their outdoor places.
